Rising Tide Society!
The Northern Utah Chapter includes business owners ranging from Cache Valley to Utah County.
From this dream, Rising Tide was born. We meet once a month where creatives + entrepreneurs gather together to grow friendships and have conversations. An open space for idea sharing and goal building. Separated by distance, but beautifully united by a shared desire to empower the creative community.
It is our hope to cultivate a society of entrepreneurs who believe in community over competition and have a desire to lead with love.

Rising Tide meet-ups will vary from city to city and each leader has the freedom to cultivate gatherings that best fit their local area. However, most gatherings include a discussion on the topic of the month, networking, or service opportunities. Whether you’ve been in business for five years or five days, there are always new tips and tricks emerging in the marketplace. It is our hope that by creating a safe space for open dialog and idea sharing we can help one another to thrive.
What happens at the meet-ups?
We believe that getting out from behind your computer and building true relationships with other creative entrepreneurs is an incredible tool for success. By joining a Rising Tide meet-up you can expect to learn new business tips directly from your colleagues, grow in confidence, and find a network of compassionate professionals in your local area.

We meet once a month at a local business or restaurant, but for more details about exact meeting times, make sure you join your area’s Facebook group. You can find local groups and their Facebook pages through our group map.

Creative Entrepreneurs and Small Business CEOs, including: Artists, Bloggers, Boutique Owners, Calligraphers, Designers, Event Planners, Florists, Makeup Artists, Venue Owners, Photographers, Videographers, Caterers, Stylists, Wedding Pros, Writers and more!
Who are they for?
Rising Tide meet-ups are gatherings for small business owners, and creative entrepreneurs who have a desire to share their knowledge, learn from their peers, and grow together. The meetings, coordinated by local industry leaders, are designed to be approachable, authentic, and uplifting. Each month, we’ll focus on a different topic to discuss and learn about.

Rising Tide Society Northern Utah joined in partnership with the Women’s Business Center of Utah, to better support and empower business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in Salt Lake City, Layton, Ogden, Logan, Provo, Lehi, and surrounding areas.
To sign up for free business services, all you need to do is complete a one-time sign up form to unlock opportunities including personalized one-on-one advising, virtual training, online courses, and the benefits of being listed on your county’s public directory on the Utah Women-Owned Business Directory.

Advising: WBCUtah advising sessions provide personalized one-on-one, virtual and in-person guidance to empower you to make informed decisions, take advantage of opportunities and overcome obstacles at all stages of business. Experienced and kind advisors are committed to building your confidence, helping you understand the intricacies of your business, make strategic advancements and connecting you with additional helpful resources.
Training: Women-focused training is available in a variety of ways to ensure you can access and learn how to successfully operate a profitable business by developing skills and implementing best practices. Online eLearning and instructor-led live sessions and classes are designed to enhance your understanding and abilities, equip you with valuable insights to thrive as a business owner and meet and learn alongside other women business owners.
Directory: Market your business with a listing in the Utah Women-Owned Business Directory, which is the only comprehensive public directory of Utah women-owned businesses. The directory can easily be searched by keyword, industry and city/county name. Take advantage of this powerful and free marketing tool to promote your business by opting in when you Sign Up. Once you claim your business listing you will have full control of your listing to share photos, contact information, social media handles, weblinks and more!
